Abstract
A procedure for isolating the Pomeranchuk contribution to total cross sections is suggested. Application to the and systems yields the same value within errors as for the and systems, respectively, in agreement with the Pomeranchuk theorem. For , an asymptotic cross section of mb is obtained.
