Abstract
The atomic factor for the , , and levels of configurations of Ni and Oii have been calculated with precise Hartree-Fock wave functions. These values are compared with available experimental results. The observed discrepancies are seen to be too large to be attributable to the use of Hartree-Fock wave functions.
