Electrophoresis on Polyacrylamide Gels of Protein and Polysaccharide Fractions from Mycobacterium Tuberculosis1,2,3

Abstract
Electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gels (disc electrophoresis) is a good tool for following tuberculin fractionation. It is a micromethod requiring only a very small volume sample; it is reproducible; specific stains can be used for the identification of the separated components; and the system can be adjusted to large-scale separation.
