Activity after recovery from rickets.

Abstract
Behavior disturbances, as reflected in variations in the activity measured by the revolving cage technique, were studied in rachitic rats. Only a few exptl. and control animals were used. After recovery from rickets young rats ran less; adult rats fed a rachitogenic diet were less active than normal; the young from rachitic mothers were markedly stunted but showed a marked increase in activity.
