Influence of Secretin and Insulin on Pancreatic Secretion in Healthy Human Subjects

Abstract

Healthy human subjects were given 2 or 3 injections of secretin at intervals of an hour. In some of the expts., insulin was given intraven. during the course of the pancreatic secretion evoked by the secretin. During the insulin hypoglycemia the concn. and output of pancreatic enzymes was increased but the volume was not influenced.
