Abstract
The percutaneous left transaxillary use of preshaped, torquecontrol coronary catheters is considered the technique of choice for selective coronary arteriography in patients with occlusive arterial ileofemoral disease and aortopelvic reconstructive surgery. It affords reliable, selective catheterization of the coronary arteries and their bimodal (cine and serial) examination. Percutaneous left transaxillary selective coronary angiography is a safe and useful technique when performed by experienced and skilled personnel in properly selected patients. Keywords
