Abstract
An hemagglutination (HA) technique for the titration of antibodies to polioviruses is described. The HA titers showed about a 75% correlation with neutralizing antibody. Virus-sensitized cells were stable for at least 6 weeks when frozen. Purified virus lessened the nonspecific HA, but not the 12% cross among antigenic types. Keywords
