Abstract
Ethanol and propylene glycol inhibit conjugate formation during the metabolism of [4-C14]-progesterone by female-rat-liver homogenate; more inhibition occurs in air than in O2. The amount of [4-Cl4]progesterone metabolized is not markedly affected by the addition of these alcohols to the incubation media. Possible reasons for these observations are discussed. Keywords
