Abstract
When isoandrostanol 6, 17-one is administered by subcut injn. to castrate male rats, a definite positive N balance and parallel increase of body wt. occurs. The effect is much less than that of testosterone. The compound fails to maintain testis or siminal vesicle wt of hypophysectomized rats. Keywords
