Abstract
The various types of tissue of the brain exhibited different rates of 02 consumption. The grey matter was more active than the white. The grey matter increased its O2 uptake in the presence of glucose, which was being converted to lactic acid. NaF greatly inhibited the O2 uptake. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
