A Simple Method for the Quantitation of Haemoglobin Fractions Obtained by Starch-Gel Electrophoresis

Abstract
A method for determining hemoglobin and non hemic fractions obtained by starch-gel electrophoresis, at alkaline pH, is described. After showing the high reproducibility of the results, Data are given on results with adult hemoblobin fetal hemoglobin, and the thalassemia hemoglobin.
