Abstract
In cursory expts. with a series of 11 sugars and more detailed expts. with 3 samples of sucrose and with equimolecular and equipercentage solns. of dextrose, sucrose was superior to dextrose and to all the other sugars tested as a source of carbohydrate for excised tomato roots. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
