Abstract
SUMMARY: 5β-Pregnane-3α:17α:20α-triol is found in unusually large quantities in the urine of many patients with adrenal hyperplasia. A method for its determination is described, which by the utilization of many features of the Klopper, Michie & Brown [1955] method for the determination of urinary pregnanediol, enables the two steroids to be measured concomitantly. The method is sufficiently sensitive, precise and specific for routine purposes and is convenient to use.
