Determination of Strong-Interaction Nuclear Radii

Abstract

We present results on the determination of a set of strong-interaction nuclear radii using the photoproduction of neutral rho mesons. Analysis of ${10}^6$ events from 13 complex nuclei yields the Woods-Saxon radii $R\left(A\right)=(1.12\mathrm{}\pm 0.02)A^{\frac{1}{3}}$ fm.
