Abstract
The lowest order electromagnetic corrections to and decay have been calculated in an intermediate vector-boson theory. Assuming universal coupling, the lifetime agrees with the experimental value if the boson's mass is chosen to be that of a meson. The results are relatively insensitive to the value chosen for the cutoff.
