Abstract
Migrating leukocytes obtained by the "skin window" technique were examined for activity of uridine diphosphate glucose -glycogen transglycosylase, using Takeuchi and Glenner''s method. A positive reaction was observed in both neutrophils and macrophages from the later stages of the inflammatory process. The polysaccharide synthesized from uridine diphosphate glucose stained red-brown with iodine and was localised in smaller and larger masses in the cytoplasm. Keywords
