Abstract
Four vortex textures in , one analytic and three singular, are proposed as possible candidates to explain recent transverse NMR results in the Helsinki rotating cryostat. Although the analytic texture, previously discussed by Seppälä and Volovik, has a transverse NMR shift and absorption closest to the observed values, the agreement with experiment is not wholly satisfactory. Longitudinal NMR shifts and absorption are calculated for the four textures; such measurements might determine which vortex is present.
