Abstract
The nuclei , , and were studied by means of the inelastic scattering of 17.5-MeV protons. The total energy resolution of about 40 keV in this experiment enabled many closely spaced states to be resolved. Transition strengths were extracted for the strongly excited states using the distorted-wave Born approximation, and the results were compared with the weak-coupling model of odd- nuclei.
