Abstract
THE problem of the relationship of adrenal gland secretion to the state of the reproductive system is an old one that still requires adequate clarification. The able review of Parkes (1), to which the interested reader is referred for much literature that will not here receive attention, has brought into focus many of the fundamental problems. Among these, of particular interest at the moment, is the question whether adrenal secretions play an integral role in the activities of the reproductive system aside from maintaining the animal in such physiologic condition as will enable the normal function on the part of the gonads. Do adrenal glands secrete sex hormones?
