Abstract
A method is descr. for the quantitative isolation of free pregnandiol in urine from pregnant and nonpregnant women. The method is based on earlier published methods by different authors. The smallest amt. estimated with any certainty is 0.2 mg. in 100 ml. of urine. The standard error in double detns. is 2.5%. In clinical work the method is of value, particularly in cases of oliogomenorrhea, sterility, and threatened abortions. Keywords
