Abstract
Evidence for the erythropoietic potency of adrenocorticotrophic preparations in the absence of the adrenal has been reexamined. Pituitary fractions of known erythropoietic activity did not correct the anemia in hypophysectomized rats when the adrenal was also absent.Keywords
