Abstract
WE are documenting the records of two sisters with Gardner's syndrome each of whom also had thyroid carcinoma. In view of the familial setting of their major illness, Gardner's syndrome, and its usual association with other tumors, the presence of thyroid carcinoma is probably meaningful.The most compelling aspect of Gardner's syndrome is familial polyposis of the large intestine, with a predisposition to colorectal cancer in early adulthood.
