Abstract
A technic for the study of enzymes by paper electrolysis was descr. and applied to amylase and trypsin. The amylase activity was found to be electrophoretically uniform, with a mobility of 2.9 x 10-5 cm.2 sec.-1 volt-1 at ph 8.6 and ionic strength 0.05. On the other hand, the trypsin activity was, under the same conditions, split into 2 components, the larger with a mobility of 0 and the smaller with a mobility of 7.0 x 10-5 cm.2 sec.-1 volt.-1.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
