Abstract
In the small intestine DHEA [dehydroepiandrosterone] sulfate underwent a complete reabsorption which was slow and continuous within the first 2 hr. While passing the intestinal wall most of it was converted to sul-fatide without cleavage of the H2SO4 ester bond or metabolism.
