Elastic Scattering ofC12Ions from Fe, Ni,Ag107, In, and Ta

Abstract

The angular distributions of ${\mathrm{C}}^{12}$ ions elastically scattered from Fe, Ni, ${\mathrm{Ag}}^{107}$, In, and Ta have been measured at an energy of 124.5 MeV. The experimental data were analyzed using a parameterized phaseshift analysis. Very good agreement with experiment was obtained. Precise values for absorption radii, surface parameters, and total reaction cross section could be extracted.
