Abstract
A marked rise in excretion of a Na retaining factor has been observed in toxemic pregnancies in both diabetic and non-diabetic patients. The increase has been observed in some patients before other toxemic symptoms became evident. No parallel increases in 11-oxy-corticosteroids were found in these patients. Keywords
