Nuclear Spins, Nuclear Moments, and Hyperfine Structure ofGe69andGe75, andP23Hyperfine Structure ofGe71

Abstract
The atomic-beam magnetic-resonance method has been used to measure the nuclear spin I and the hyperfine structure constants a and b in the P13 atomic state of 38-h Ge69 and 82-min Ge75, and in the P23 atomic state of Ge75 and 11-day Ge71. From these measurements, the nuclear moments μI and Q are deduced. The results are: for Ge69, I=52, a(P13)=23.40(3) MHz, b(P13)=±8.28(8) MHz, μI(uncorr)=±0.733(7)μN, and Q(uncorr)=±0.028(6) b; for Ge71, a(P23)=+360.53(4) MHz; and for Ge75, I=12, a(P13)=81.06(8) MHz,
