Abstract
Human liver and a number of other tissues possess 3 different arylsulphatases. Two of these enzymes were readily solu-bilized and were comparable to enzymes A and B of rat liver. The other enzyme could not be obtained in soluble form and had properties which were very similar to those of the microsomal arylsulfatase of rat liver. The 3 enzymes were separated from each other and their characteristics investigated. Keywords
