(Li6,d) reaction onCa40

Abstract

The ${}_{}{}^{40}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ca}({}_{}{}^6{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li},d){}_{}{}^{44}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ti}$ reaction was studied at $E\left({}_{}{}^6{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li}\right)=32\mathrm{}$ MeV. Angular distributions for ${}_{}{}^{44}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ti}$ levels up to 9-MeV excitation energy have been measured. They are compared with $\alpha$-transfer distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations to determine angular momentum transfers and relative strengths.
