Abstract
12 Pacific fence lizards (Sceloporus o. occidentalis) were autopsied, dissected aseptically, and the tissues examined bacteriologi-cally. Salmonella rubislaw (XI :r, enx) was isolated from 3, paracolon A from 1, and paracolon B from 2. The paracolon A was found to have O antigens identical with S. newport VI, VIII, and H type antigens d and i. The paracolon B had O factors IV and XII. No H antigens were demonstrated. Keywords
