Abstract
The important action of insulin is in bringing about the storage of sugar at the time it is absorbed. When large amts. are absorbed by the diabetic organism, a large part, whose disposal insulin aids, must be changed to fat. Evidence is presented that an important action of insulin is to accelerate this transformation.
