Abstract
External manifestations of estrus may be induced in normal dogs with extract of menopause urine or progynon-B. Estrus was induced with menopause urine extract in 14 of 16 immature dogs, comparable to that induced by F. S. H. Progynon-B had no obvious effect on the ovary. Pseudo-pregnancy does not follow estrus induced by progynon-B as it does that induced by menopause urine extract. The latter combined with follutein on the first day of estrus was followed by pregnancy in 1 of 3 cases. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
